Designed to support the Intel Xeon 4th gen processor Scalable family and the AMD EPYC 9004 Series, the multi-node range maximises memory and processor bandwidth to meet demanding compute use requirements.

The Broadberry multi-node server range is built with the latest 4th Gen Intel Xeon processor Scalable family. These servers provide exceptional scalability and speed by leveraging the latest CPU, memory, and I/O technologies. They deliver the performance needed and the flexibility to accommodate various application requirements.

The Multi-Node server boasts a versatile modular design, making it easy to configure and adapt to changing application and business needs. With convenient cold aisle serviceability and straightforward front-node access, the Multi-node server packs four hot-swappable nodes into a compact 2U form factor. Each node supports up to 60 cores in a single-processor setup, offers a maximum of 4TB of memory, and accommodates up to 6 NVMe/SATA drives. Customers can tailor the system to meet specific network requirements by configuring each node with an AIOM (OCP 3.0) card and various I/O modules.

These systems are designed for various computing tasks such as virtualisation, cloud computing, hosting, content delivery, hyper-scale/hyper-converged applications, and general-purpose computing. The Multi-node serves now include the latest 4th Gen Intel® Xeon Scalable processor, which delivers faster processing speeds that can be fine-tuned for diverse workloads. The processor's built-in acceleration features enhance overall performance, leading to improved application efficiency and productivity across different applications

Multi Node Servers

Multi-node systems are designed so that all servers (nodes) are located within a single chassis with shared power supplies and fans. These servers feature the latest CPU technology in various sizes, providing higher computing power and memory capacity compared to traditional rackmount servers while also reducing power consumption.

For instance, a Broadberry Multi-Node Server with four nodes, each with dual processors, results in 8 CPUs within a 2U space. This significantly increases computing density compared to a typical 1U rackmount server with 2 CPUs in 1U, which is a 100% improvement in computing density. Additionally, having multiple compute nodes within a single chassis reduces the use of sheet metal and allows for easy node upgrades, minimising electronic waste since only one node needs updating at a time.
